Yet another storm has hit the east coast. School was canceled today AGAIN. Normally I love snow days. Today..... not so much. I woke on the "wrong side of the bed." I have had a stiff (due to an old injury) neck for the past few days. Constant pain. No sleep. The baby has yet another chest cold; wheezing, nebulizer, coughing, crying, no sleep. The rest of the cherubs picked up instantly on my silent mood so there was just enough spats to be annoying. Needless to say, I took the "enjoy being home with the kids stance", not the "OOOOOOOHHHHHH a snow day lets have FUN, play games, bake, dance, pretend, paint nails, have special snacks and laugh at jokes."
Three of the four are asleep and I can say the day was peaceful. Special and memorable will be saved for another day.
